Deliveries in the UK
We use a variety of third party courier services (including Royal Mail) to ship orders in the UK and these are selected based on weight and order value.
If you’re at all worried about delivery times, just give us a call or use the chat function to check lead times. We aim to despatch all orders as soon as possible and, if we know an order is urgent, we will always try to ship same day. However, we make no guarantee to despatch the same day an order is received other than for a next working day service. You are able to upgrade your delivery to guarantee a tracked service at the checkout and it may be possible to select and pay for a next working day service.
Working days for the purpose of shipping and deliveries are Monday to Friday excluding Bank Holidays. If your items are despatched on a Friday for delivery in the UK, a next working day delivery will be the next working day – therefore typically a Monday unless the Monday is a Bank Holiday. Goods shipped on a next working day service may be subject to delays by the courier which are outside of our control in which case our terms and conditions apply.
All of our carriers may deliver any time up to 19:00 on the day of delivery. Services to outlying areas may differ and take longer and for some areas next day services may not be available. Our daily deadline for shipping orders received is 2:30pm on a working day.
Valuable and weighty items will be tracked to your door and, for most of the UK, should arrive within 1 to 3 working days of despatch. They will need to be signed for on delivery.
You will be sent a confirmation email on the day your order is despatched.
All deliveries are insured against loss if they do not arrive or are damaged on arrival. You should notify us within 7 days of placing your order if you have not received your order and we have not advised you of any delay. Please be aware that Royal Mail do not consider a parcel lost until after 15 working days from despatch.
Tracking Your Delivery
If you have given us a valid email address then, on the day we ship your order, you will be sent an email confirming that it has been dispatched. This email will contain the web site address of the carrier and the tracking number of your consignment. By this method you will be able to see for yourself the progress of your delivery. Overseas customers can use the post tracking number to track the parcel with their local Post Service. All tracked items need to be signed for upon receipt.

VAT
The price of an item includes an amount in respect of value added tax (VAT) chargeable from time to time. The VAT exclusive price and VAT inclusive price of each item is set out in our website and in relevant price lists.
Deliveries Outside the UK
We ship worldwide using Royal Mail or Parcelforce. A small charge will be added to your order before you checkout depending on the weight of your whole order. For large items you may need to contact us for a shipping price before purchasing. Please refer to our Shipping Disclaimer below.
VAT & Customs Duties for Customers Outside the UK
If your order is being delivered to a country outside the UK, you will not normally be charged VAT by us. In such a case, any VAT element of the price of an item will be not be charged (and if included it will be deducted from your order before you checkout).
- Items sent to EU countries, the British Channel Islands, and other countries outside the UK may be subject to VAT and duties in the destination country.
- The customs authorities in the destination country and the customs thresholds in place determine if charges are due on imported goods. The levels and thresholds of charges vary from country to country.
- Please contact the embassy or customs authority of the destination country for specific details.
VAT Exempt Organisations
If you are purchasing on behalf of an organisation that is exempt from VAT, please contact us directly and we will arrange to invoice you accordingly.
Shipping Disclaimer for Deliveries Outside the UK
Duties and Taxes
When a package is shipped internationally, it may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, and/or fees imposed by the destination country. These charges will typically be due once the shipped goods arrive at the country of destination. Such charges are not included in the product price or shipping and handling and you will be contacted by the courier to arrange payment of these additional charges.
By placing an international order (shipping outside of the United Kingdom), you are responsible for abiding by the laws, regulations, and restrictions that apply to the destination country.
Delivery Timing
International Orders are shipped using an International courier service. Delivery times vary but are estimated as being 7-14 business days, depending on your country's customs regulations and procedures.
If you don't receive your package within several weeks, check with your local post office and local customs office as they could be holding your package for payment of duties.
Your order confirmation details only include an estimated shipping charge based on weight and package dimensions. Occasionally, the estimated shipping amount listed on your order may not be accurate due to the dimensions of the package. In this case, we will attempt to contact you to make you aware of any additional charges.
Shipping Terms
We cannot be held responsible or liable for lost or stolen packages that have delivery confirmation to the address that was provided or where the shipping information provided is not correct.
If you or your country's customs rejects your shipment, or your package is deemed as undeliverable by the courier for any reason, we will credit you for the refused items once they are returned to us in re-sellable condition; however, you are responsible for outbound shipping charges together with any other fees that may apply and a £10 administration fee which we will deduct from any credit.
For business customers, a restocking fee of 30% will be deducted from the amount credited. No credit is available for goods that have been manufactured to a customer specification.
If you wish to attempt a second delivery, we will contact you to take payment for the additional shipping charges. Alternatively, please contact us to arrange collection using your own courier.
