Today, so many clocks are proudly advertised as being completely silent. Great if you want silence, but some of us can’t sleep properly without the gentle, regular tick of a bedside clock, me included. Maybe it’s my advanced years, or maybe I am just used to it, but I can only get a good nights sleep in a room with a ticking clock. This clock is almost perfect and could only be improved by having metal winders instead of plastic ones. Thank you for a fast and safe delivery. Happy to recommend.

Keeps gaining or losing significant time as air temperature fluctuates
Plastic winders difficult to use by big hands such as mine - suggest metal ones instead.

Just what I wanted
I give 3 stars not 2, taken me 5 gos to do this a every time I click on the stars it just highlighted all 5!
1. Placed my order, website wasn't the best, billing and delivery address the wrong way round, so emailed the company and asked for the addresses to be corrected. That never happened as they delivered to the billing address.
2. I received an email asking me how I was enjoying the product. They hadn't DELIVERED the order!!! Then I got an email asking if I was purchasing for myself of a company as I wanted it delivered to work!! I have never been asked that EVER and was irrelevant.
3. Product for delivered, but loses time daily. So you need to adjust them daily. (Didn't have to do that when I was a kid, you'd normally get 4days/week before winding again) hey ho, craftsmanship isn't what it used to be. The back of it is different and personally looks cheap. Front of it looks nice.in chrome.
Prompt delivery
I wanted a clock that ticks and the lady on customer service who assured me it did was very helpful. It was very easy to order and I was kept informed of the order progress. Delivery was quicker than I expected and the product is perfect (nice, loud tick!)
